CAPABILITY ACROSS

DAIKINSAMSUNG DVMVERTIV LIEBERTCOMMERCIAL HVACR

FROM REACTIVE REPAIRS TO RELIABLE OPERATIONS

A breakdown costs more than the repair.

Lost stock, uncomfortable customers, interrupted work and emergency expenditure can quickly turn one equipment failure into a serious business problem.

ComfortGuard 360™ identifies risks early, documents equipment condition and gives your facility a planned path forward.

WHY COMFORT TECHNOLOGIES?

More than a maintenance contractor.

ComfortGuard 360™ is the flagship reliability programme from Comfort Technologies—bringing multiple HVACR disciplines, structured reporting and accountable support into one professional service relationship.

01

One accountable HVACR partner

Air-conditioning, refrigeration, ventilation and critical cooling supported through one coordinated relationship.

02

Commercial engineering capability

CIDB 5ME PE capability backed by experience across projects, commissioning, repairs and maintenance.

03

Decisions supported by evidence

Equipment records, condition reporting and clear priorities replace guesswork with informed action.

04

Protection matched to risk

Programmes and service levels are selected around the facility, equipment and operational consequences of failure.

05

Commitments with clear limits

Response arrangements, workmanship support and exclusions are documented so expectations remain transparent.

06

Cape Town-based support

A local technical team serving commercial and residential customers across Cape Town and surrounding areas.

SOUTH AFRICAN COMPLIANCE CONTEXT

Local standards for local facilities.

ComfortGuard 360™ is delivered in South Africa. Each assessment and maintenance scope is considered against the South African legislation, standards, approved designs and municipal requirements applicable to that site and item of equipment.

01OHSA 85 of 1993

Workplace health and safety

Maintenance and site activities are planned with regard to the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the safety requirements applicable to the work being performed.

02Pressure Equipment Regulations

Refrigeration pressure systems

Refrigeration and air-conditioning work involving pressure equipment is assessed against the applicable South African Pressure Equipment Regulations and incorporated standards.

03SANS 10147

Refrigerating-system safety

Where applicable, inspection and technical recommendations consider the South African safety requirements for refrigerating systems, including plant associated with air-conditioning systems.

04SANS 10400-O

Lighting and ventilation

Ventilation-related work is considered in the context of Part O of the application of the National Building Regulations, together with the approved project design and local-authority requirements.

05SANS 10142-1

Low-voltage electrical installations

Electrical installation matters identified during HVACR work are referred for compliant attention in accordance with the applicable South African wiring requirements.

06SAQCC Gas / SARACCA

Authorised refrigerant-gas work

Refrigerant-gas work that requires an authorised practitioner and Certificate of Conformity is handled within the practitioner’s registered scope and applicable South African requirements.

Scope-specific compliance

Not every standard applies to every system. The final proposal identifies the work included, the responsible discipline and any certificates or specialist appointments required. References on this page do not replace a site-specific engineering design, statutory inspection or Certificate of Conformity.

SPECIALISED FOR YOUR ENVIRONMENT

Protection built around your operation.

Choose a programme that reflects what failure would mean to your facility—not a generic maintenance checklist.

CLEAR ANSWERS

ComfortGuard questions, answered.

These answers explain the general programme. The signed proposal and maintenance agreement always define the final scope for each facility.

Still have a question? Send an enquiry ↓
01What is ComfortGuard 360™?+

ComfortGuard 360™ is Comfort Technologies’ structured HVACR reliability programme. It combines planned maintenance, equipment oversight, reporting and agreed technical-support arrangements according to the facility’s operating environment and risk level.

02Is the initial consultation free?+

Yes. The first telephone or WhatsApp consultation is complimentary. If a professional site assessment is required, its scope and any fee will be confirmed before attendance.

03Does ComfortGuard guarantee that equipment will never break down?+

No maintenance programme can guarantee that equipment will never fail. ComfortGuard is designed to identify risks earlier, improve maintenance discipline and support a more organised response when problems occur.

04What does 24/7 Critical Support Access mean?+

Qualifying Critical Systems Care clients may submit an assistance request at any time using the agreed emergency channel. Attendance and repair remain subject to technician availability, location, access, safety, parts and the signed contract terms.

05Are repairs, parts and refrigerant included?+

Only where they are expressly included in the signed maintenance agreement or approved quotation. Planned maintenance does not automatically include replacement parts, refrigerant, specialist repairs or equipment replacement.

06How is the right programme selected?+

The facility type determines the programme category—FacilityCare, Hospitality, ColdChain or DataCare. Equipment condition and operational risk then determine the appropriate Essential, Business or Critical support level.

07Is remote monitoring included with Critical Systems Care?+

Remote monitoring is an optional solution subject to technical assessment, equipment compatibility, connectivity and a separate written monitoring arrangement. The alert and response process must be agreed before activation.

08Does Comfort Technologies assist with once-off work?+

Yes. Comfort Technologies also supports urgent repairs, commercial HVACR projects, installations, replacements and residential air-conditioning enquiries.

09Which areas do you serve?+

Comfort Technologies is based in Monte Vista and serves Cape Town and surrounding areas. Availability, travel and response arrangements are confirmed for each site.

10Which standards apply to ComfortGuard work?+

ComfortGuard operates in South Africa. The standards and legal requirements relevant to each job may include the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Pressure Equipment Regulations, SANS 10147, SANS 10400-O, SANS 10142-1 and authorised refrigerant-gas practitioner requirements. The exact requirements depend on the equipment, site and approved scope.

11What happens after I submit an enquiry?+

The team reviews the information, contacts you to clarify the requirement and recommends either a consultation, site assessment, urgent response or quotation pathway.
